On the public holiday this week our team took the opportunity to donate blood at the Australian Red Cross Lifeblood Collection Centre in Fremantle.
Statistics show that one in three people will need potentially lifesaving blood or blood products during their lifetime, yet only one in 30 people donate.
If you’ve been thinking about making a blood donation but haven’t been able to get around to it, as our team had, the start of autumn and winter is an excellent time to do so as traditionally stocks drop during this period due to regular donors being excluded with colds and flus.
