Our Team at the Sea Shepherd Beach Clean Up

Prior to Perth’s COVID-19 lockdown our team were happy to participate in the Sea Shepherd’s Marine Debris Campaign beach clean-up at Cottesloe beach.

We all had a wonderful morning out in the sun doing our little bit for a cause close to our hearts.

The Sea Shepherd Team reported that 16kg of debris was collected mostly of microplastics but also including 623 plastic food packaging wrappers, 76 ear bud sticks, 763 hard plastic pieces as well as over 22,000 polystyrene balls which were likely from a beanbag.
